After releasing her heartfelt post-breakup single “LA CUEVA,” Cazzu is officially in her bélica era. On Jan. 22, the Argentinean trap star released her second single, “DOLCE,” featuring a new música mexicana sound along with a captivating and sensual music video.
“DOLCE is now available everywhere! 💋 link in bio,” she wrote in Spanish online. “With special dedication to my people in Mexico who make me feel so loved 🇲🇽❤️🔥.”
The new music video, directed by Facundo Ballve, starts with Cazzu seemingly upset at a text message. She’s shown wearing horns, singing heartfelt lyrics to a man dressed as the devil sitting on a chair. The trapera is seen touching the devil, singing to him, and seducing him by taking off her clothes as he’s tied up on the chair. Notably, one of her most memorable looks includes Cazzu in a leather-like white outfit with fringes and heeled boots. At the end of the video, she appears in a red dress with white wings. The singer wrote the music video.

“DOLCE,” produced by Argentinean music producer Nico Cotton, is a corrido tumbado highlighting traditional música mexicana elements like a requinto and lively brass instruments. Although it starts as a sad girl track, with lyrics like, “Te creí y yo no doy más de una oportunidad / Ojalá te dure eso de aparentar / Mujeres bonitas, ninguna real / Como yo, que contigo estaba a morir y a matar,” the song turns to a baddie anthem once she recognizes her worth. With lyrics like, “Se te olvidó / Que lo sabes te lo enseñé yo,” and, “Mucho ante’ de conocerte yo ya había coronado,” the Argentinean star snaps back to reality, realizing she’s always been that girl.
Social media users are praising the new song. An X user wrote in Spanish: “I love cazzu’s talent to adapt to any genre.” A YouTube user, @fabiolavelasco6149, commented in Spanish: “Every song Cazzu puts out is a nail in Nodal’s coffin!!!!”
Up next, Cazzu is scheduled to perform at Austin’s Bésame Mucho festival on Apr. 5.
