When Does ‘Wednesday’ Season 2 Premiere on Netflix?

Netflix
Wednesday Season 2 is coming sooner than expected. Netflix has announced the premiere dates for the second season of the Jenna Ortega-led series, and, like many Netflix originals, we can expect this return to happen in two parts: Part 1 on August 6, 2025, and Part 2 on September 3, 2025. The streamer has also released a teaser trailer to accompany the date announcement, and it’s very Wednesday, to say the least.
In the teaser, we see Wednesday Addams going through security at an airport while a version of the song “My Favorite Things,” from The Sound of Music, plays, albeit with a very different, much sadder tone than when Julie Andrews sings it in the classic movie. As she goes through the metal detector, there’s a beep, which is when she pulls out brass knuckles and puts them in the tray. Well, to start with. As the TSA officer asks, “Anything else on your person?” it turns out Wednesday has a lot more weapons on her. Oh, and Thing.
The trailer then shows Wednesday with her entire family, with Morticia remarking that this is the first time she’s willingly returning to a school. Then there’s Enid welcoming Wednesday back, creepy dolls (a lot of creepy dolls, including whose curls are apparently super soft because they’re made from real human hair), and a glimpse of Steve Buscemi’s character and Fred Armisen’s return as Uncle Fester. “Wherever there’s murder and mayhem, you will always find an Addams,” Wednesday promises as cars flip and monsters, fire, and secrets are teased.
“You don’t need to worry about me, mother. I do my best work in the dark.” Wednesday says at the end of the trailer. And we can’t wait to see what that best work is.
