Who Are the Latine Islanders from Love Island USA Season 7?

When we first started on our Love Island USA Season 7 journey, Yulissa was the sole Latina islander. But in a shocking turn of events, in Episode 2 of Season 7 the narrator announced “Yulissa has left the villa.” There was no explanation, no reason given, and no visible reaction from the other islanders. Yulissa was simply gone. But just because Yulissa is gone, doesn’t mean that there aren’t Latine islanders on Love Island USA Season 7.
There’s Amaya Espinal.
The 25-year-old from New York City is a registered nurse, content creator, and model. She was one of the first bombshells to be introduced this season alongside Hannah Fields. As for her heritage, she confirmed in a recent episode that she was “full blown Dominican.” And she’s currently paired up with Ace as of Season 7 Episode 12.
We also have Cierra Ortega.
The 25-year-old from Los Angeles is currently a content creator. She was the first bombshell to be introduced at the end of the Love Island USA Season 7 premiere. Right off the bat she connected with fellow islander Nic Vansteenberghe. As for her heritage, her Instagram has the emojis for the Mexico and Puerto Rico flags. And she’s currently paired up with Nic as of Season 7 Episode 12.
Newly minted bombshell Pepe Garcia is also part of the Latine family.
The 27-year-old is a trainer and former pro basketball player. He was a bombshell introduced in Love Island USA Season 7 Episode 9. And his connections range from Hannah to Amaya. As for his heritage, he confirmed to Amaya in Season 7 Episode 10 that he was Spaniard-Cuban. And he’s currently paired up with Hannah as of Season 7 Episode 12.
And though some people are conflicted as to where Haitians land on the Latine scale, we’re going to include Haitian-American Chelley Bissainthe in the mix.
The 27-year-old from Florida is a day trader. She is part of the original islander cast for Season 7. And her connections have mainly been centered around Ace Greene and Austin Shephard. She’s currently paired up with Austin as of Season 7 Episode 12.
Love Island USA airs new episodes every day except Wednesdays and Saturdays, with Saturdays being reserved for Love Island Aftersun.
