The Writer Behind ‘Through My Window’ Has Another Release on The Way

If you’re a fan of Venezuelan writer Ariana Godoy, you’re in luck. And if you don’t know her yet, this is the perfect time.
Godoy began writing on Wattpad in 2014 and has since written 20 webnovels in English and Spanish, publishing nine bestselling works with the Wattpad WEBTOON Book Group and Penguin Random House.

Her Wattpad novel, A través de mi ventana (Through My Window) became a global phenomenon with 386 million reads, and has been adapted into a trilogy of films on Netflix. Each film in the trilogy debuted at #1 on the Netflix charts for Non-English films, and the first film in the series remains one of the streamer’s most-watched non-English films of all time, with 116 million hours viewed.
Now her upcoming film, an adaptation of her Wattpad novel Sigue Mi Voz, is set to premiere on September 12 in theaters in Spain and on Prime Video at a later date.
Sigue Mi Voz follows Klara, a young woman who spent 76 days cooped up at home due to a mental health crisis. And one of things that tethered her during that time is her favorite radio show. As time passes, she wonders if it’s possible to fall in love with someone she’s heard on the radio but never met.
The upcoming film stars Berta Castañé as Klara and Jae Woo Yang as Kang.
