Carlos Vives Unveils U.S. ‘Tour al Sol 2026’

Carlos Vives is going on tour next year! On Nov. 10, the iconic Colombian singer announced his upcoming “Tour al Sol 2026.” The U.S. leg of his highly anticipated tour will kick off at the Radio City Music Hall in New York, NY, on Apr. 24, 2026, and wrap up at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico in San Juan, PR, on June 5, 2026.
“Each show of Tour al Sol will be a concert from sun to sun (from sunrise to sunset), a journey through the emotions of music that moves with the sun,” Vives said about the tour in a press statement. “It will feature a selection of songs, including the most remarkable vallenatos of my career, and pay tribute to classics like La Tierra del Olvido, as well as songs from El Último Disco.”
He continued: “In short, Tour al Sol is a journey through La Provincia, La Tierra del Olvido, and El Último Disco; a concert with the sun of La Provincia.”
After kicking off his U.S. leg in New York, the “La Bicicleta” singer will continue to the Jazz Festival in New Orleans, LA (Apr. 24, 2026); the Smart Financial Centre in Sugar Land, TX (May 1, 2026); the Texas Trust CU Theatre in Grand Prairie, TX (May 2, 2026); and the Rosemont Theatre in Chicago, IL (May 7, 2026). More stops include the Eagle Bank Arena in Fairfax, VA (May 9, 2026); the Agganis Arena in Boston, MA (May 10, 2026); and the WAMU Theatre in Seattle, WA (May 14, 2026).
The last string of performances of the “Tour al Sol 2026” include stops at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, CA (May 16, 2026); the Kaseya Center in Miami, FL (May 23, 2026); and the Kia Center in Orlando, FL (May 24, 2026). His last performance will be at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico in San Juan, PR (June 6, 2026).
The upcoming tour will continue to celebrate the 30th anniversary of his popular album La Tierra del Olvido, released in 1995. The album includes songs like “Pa’Mayte,” “La Cachucha Bacana,” and “Dios Coronada.”
