The FIFA World Cup 2026 is coming sooner rather than later, and the first step towards the biggest sporting event in the world is almost here: the draw. The draw is set to reveal the makeup of the 12 groups in the 2026 World Cup. Dates and venues will be announced a day later, on December 6th.

We already know the groups for the three host countries: Mexico will be Group A, Canada will be Group B, and the United States will be Group D. That means that Mexico is set to play the inaugural match for the FIFA 2026 World Cup. And with the FIFA 2026 World Cup draw almost here, we’ll know against whom. But when is it and where can you watch it in Spanish?

The FIFA 2026 World Cup draw is set to take place from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm ET on Friday, December 5th, from Washington, D.C.’s Kennedy Center, and it will be streamed in Spanish by Telemundo. The draw will also be streamed on Peacock.

But that’s not all: Telemundo is also set to kick off much more coverage leading up to the World Cup, including a pre-draw watch party on Telemundo Deportes YouTube Channel at 11 am ET/8am PT.

“As we prepare to welcome the FIFA World Cup 2026™ to North America, Telemundo is proud to bring fans the excitement of the Final Draw live from the heart of Washington, D.C.,” Joaquin Duro, EVP, Sports and Head of Streaming, NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises, said.

“This comprehensive coverage reflects our commitment to serving our audiences because for Hispanics across the U.S., the Draw represents not only the beginning of the competition, but also a celebration of cultural pride, unity, and anticipation leading up to 2026.”

The network’s coverage will feature their star-studded team of commentators and hosts, alongside former Argentine international footballer Maxi Rodríguez and former Uruguayan international player Diego Lugano, among other special guests.
