Jarritos is looking for a few good artists. The Mexican soda brand recently launched an artist grant contest through its JarriTODOS initiative to help support diverse, up-and-coming artists and creatives in the fields of visual art, dance, fashion, food, and music.

“Jarritos champions all things culture, and we’re committed to celebrating the artists who influence our communities and culture with their work,” Eric Delamare, director of marketing for Jarritos, said in a statement. “We’re thrilled to launch this new initiative and connect with the next generation of talent across the country.”

The JarriTODOS Artist Grant Contest will select five grant winners to each receive a $10,000 grand prize. Winners will be chosen by a panel of judges working in their field of expertise and by votes from fans. The grants, Jarritos said, are to help the artists “pursue their artistic passions.”

Some of the judges who will be choosing the grant winners include: Karla Martinez de Salas, editor of Vogue Mexico/Latin America; JoJo Gomez, professional dancer/choreographer; Courtney Plummer, contemporary art dealer; Pati Jinich, celebrity chef and host of Pati’s Mexican Table; and Javier Farfan, music, entertainment, and cultural marketing consultant.

Grant applications will be accepted through August 6, 2022. The application calls for a short video essay showcasing the artist’s talent and explaining why they feel they deserve one of the five $10,000 grants. Fan voting will take place from August 10-20, 2022. Grand prize winners will be announced on September 9, 2022. Learn more about Jarritos Mexican Soda at Jarritos.com.
