The family of late singer Jenni Rivera has reopened Jenni Rivera Fashion in a mall in California. The store sells t-shirts, mugs, books and other retail products with Rivera’s name and image. The Grand Opening of the store took place this past Friday (November 11).
“Thank you to each and every one of you who made it out today for our GRAND OPENING,” read a message from the official Instagram page for Jenni Rivera Fashion. “We will forever cherish and appreciate your support.”
The new Jenni Rivera Fashion store is located inside Brea Mall in Brea, California, which is about 30 miles southeast of Los Angeles.
“We are very excited to announce the opening of Jenni Rivera Fashion at the Brea Mall in Brea, California,” said daughter Jacqie Rivera in a statement. “It has come a long way since the first store that opened in 2013 and it is a very proud moment for us to be able to achieve this goal to honor the legacy of our mother. I bet you are smiling when you remember the days when she used to sell CDs at swap meets and now has a full store in a prime location that honors his music career and legacy. We welcome all her fans to come celebrate and remember her here with us.”
Recently, her family released a posthumous single, “Misión Cumplida,” as part of a new album that will be released on December 9, 2023.
“We, her children, feel that we are completing a mission for her by launching that production that she was working on,” her daughter said in a statement earlier this month. “When she was with us, we never realized what a great star she was. For us, she was simply our mom, but with this new music, we are recognizing the icon that Jenni Rivera continues to be and giving a gift to her fans.”
