Felipe Maia is a Brazilian journalist and ethnomusicologist (anthropology + music + sound) based in Europe. He has bylines on Remezcla, Pitchfork, VICE, Resident Advisor, Trax Magazine, OkayAfrica, Folha de S. Paulo, among others. He is also a resident DJ at Rinse France with BAÏLE, a monthly radio show focused on baile funk and its different subgenres.
