Michelle is a Mexican-American freelance writer who has spent two years blogging about Mexico-US border art. She has written for the SF Chronicle, The Tico Times, Narratively, SF Station, Pilates Style Magazine, and xojane, among others. She has an MFA in Creative Writing from Mills College, and is a winner of a SF Writers’ Grotto Writing Fellowship and San Francisco Arts Commission Individual Artist’s Grant.
