Jenna Ortega, the protagonist behind the popular Netflix series Wednesday, made a powerful appearance at the Season 2 world premiere in London in a couture dress straight off the runway.

Ortega attended the premiere on Wednesday (July 30) wearing a printed latex dress from Ashi Studio, from their FW26 Couture collection. She completed the look with freshly bleached brows, wine-colored lips and her long hair parted in the middle with her ears poking out to give full garden fairy vibes.

She was styled by long-time collaborator and fashion stylist Enrique Melendez.

The designer and founder, Mohammed Ashi, told Remezcla the dress “is latex, (with) printed snakeskin.” He adds that “snakeskin was the inspiration behind the dress.”

Ashi also shared a picture of snakeskin material that inspired the look on the brand’s Instagram story, calling the material his moodboard. Worn by Ortega, the latex material combined with the nude and subtle printed scales on the surface give off an ethereal-reptilian effect. The back of the dress also features a lace up grommet closure.

Ashi also shared that the dress made its first public appearance ”just three weeks ago“ during Haute Couture Week in Paris (July 7-July 10). The collection was inspired by the concept of “a world in chaos.” According to Ashi Studios’ Instagram post of the show, the silhouettes reference “a range of obsessions and tributes to the past century, an old Paris, the richness of ancient cultures, a sense of decay.”
