Maluma Looks Unrecognizable After Shaving His Beard — See It Here

Maluma is starting the year with a new look! Yesterday (January 12), the popular Colombian singer was spotted in a new photo sporting a new shaved face – and the Internet is not OK.
Though Maluma hasn’t posted a new selfie on his Instagram grid this year, his dermatologist, Elizabeth Arroyave, broke the internet when she published what appears to be a new photo with the singer. The photo shows Maluma with a clean face and no beard in sight. “Today was one of those simple, beautiful days ✨ Freshly shaved skin, good conversation, laughter, intentional care, and a shared lunch,” she captioned the photo in Spanish. “Thank you Juan Luis @maluma and Susy @susigomez for your trust and warmth. Dermatology is also about this: accompanying processes, reading the skin, and respecting the moment.”
The surprising new look is giving social media users a lot to say. Some X users are hoping he grows his beard back. Other X users think he looks younger without facial hair.
It’s unclear if Maluma will continue to rock this new look. His last post was on New Year’s Day, where he posted photos of himself with his signature bearded look.
But if we’re being honest, a new, clean era wouldn’t be so far-fetched for the “Borro Cassette” singer, since he’s trying out new things now that he’s a father. “I changed when Paris was born. It changed the perspective that I have about life,” he told Remezcla in an interview. “And it helped me a lot, and it’s helping me a lot. Again, it was difficult because when you’re used to living one way.”
Maybe he meant changes both inside and out.
