Mexican-American designer Willy Chavarria has become a staple designer of American fashion. And now his debut at Paris Fashion Week Men’s Fall-Winter 2025 has cemented him as a global designer for the people!

Today (January 24)  Chavarria’a runway debut included big-name celebrities walking the runway, such as long-time label supporter Becky G, and Latine talent such as Tokischa, J Balvin, Indya Moore, Paloma Elsesser, Ozuna, and more.

On Instagram, Becky G shared BTS footage of the show, capturing selfies and detail shots of her makeup and “Sad Mami” outfit details. In the caption, she details her history for the Chicano designer, saying:

@willychavarrianewyork was one of the first designers to move me to tears…few years ago I sat in a New York City church behind Madonna as the sounds of my childhood played while the models, who looked like my family, walked down the aisle. Willy’s fashion made me believe that I belonged. That there was actually someone who cared enough about us to create & dedicate art to our culture. Chicano culture. Willy, to support you, to walk in your show, to call you family, is truly an honor. Thank you for letting me be your sad mami tonight. Thank you for showing us that we are so much more. Love you @newyorkwilly (last slide is a pic from the day we met)”

The Latine celebrities walked the spiritual runway in the designer’s latest collection. Donning slinky suits, and voluminous structures.

Chavarria’s Paris runway debut comes after days of exclusive activations with Adidas Originals. The activation included a cherry red Chevy Impala cruising through Parisian streets with the Willy Chavarria signature logo and Adidas logo.

The activations also included an exclusive Drop of the Adidas forum sneaker, the first Adidas x Willy Chavarría shoe collab.

Willy Chavarria’s debut show Tarantula took place at an American church in Paris, located on the 7th arrondissement, and has one clear message, “It’s a message of love, human dignity and equality, and the protection of our civil rights.”
