The latest Adidas x 424 line is here. For years, FourTwoFour on Fairfax has been a pillar of the creative scene in Los Angeles. They’ve amassed a strong following as well as a level of respect globally. Now, their latest forward-thinking collection confirms their work is far from done.

424’s collaboration with Adidas is a natural union and an extension of an already established link following their original reimagining of a few classics in 2019.

The spirit behind their exclusive two-year partnership with Arsenal, which includes the first-ever formal wear line for Arsenal Women, bleeds into this sportswear meets formal wear collection.

Who better to stir the pot than these guys?

“If you’re not throwing more flavor into the stew,” the Guatemalan designer told us last year, “you’re not gonna get anything new or special.”

It’s a strange time to be excited about anything and push out tightly-held projects, but this project is two years in the making and it shows. Subtle yet intentional design decisions make the DNA of both 424 and Adidas instantly recognizable.

“Buying from an independent boutique is a way to keep this part of the ecosystem we call our culture alive,” founder Guillermo Andrade wrote in a note today. “If you do have the luxury to invest in 424 this season, think of it as creative rescue line, and a bet on the future.”

The collection—which includes a 424 take on the Pro Model, SC Premiere and Shell Toe as well as tailored track “suits”—is available now.
