I hate to hate on Latinas doing their thing, but I can’t help but point out how much LaLa looks like a novella actress-turned-chola on her "Homegurlz" video.
Don’t get me wrong, the message behind this track is real—give props to the girls who always have your back—and the room in the bedroom scene reminds me of my own, but does it have to sound so cheesy? An extra on the set of LaLa’s latest single "Sprung on a Thug" video told Remezcla homechick is not playing when she sings, "He’s hustlin’, he’s ridin’, he’s out there doin’ all these things, but I’m sprung on this thug and I don’t why…" The homie who plays her object of obsession was all tatted up, even sporting one on his forehead that said: "F&%k You." Dang.
