Everyone’s My favorite social simulation video game is coming soon. After what feels like forever, Animal Crossing: New Horizons is finally making its way into the world on March 20, 2020. In the meantime, Nintendo is dropping small teasers about what to expect. Just recently, the company revealed to Mexican media that the game will include elements of Mexican culture, as well as Latin American Spanish (as in it won’t be European Spanish).
According to IGN Latam, Nintendo showed that characters can wear vestido de China Poblana and catch monarch butterflies as part of the game, both symbols that are important to Mexico. There’s not many more details, but hopefully, this is only the beginning of Nintendo making the game feel as special as possible for Latin American users.
