Normally, cute puppies online make most people happy, but apparently not if it’s a pricey, pocket-sized pooch like the one that Anuel AA gave to his wife Yailin La Más Viral as a gift.
Although it was already revealed that Anuel AA purchased Yailin a white Pomeranian while the couple was working on having a baby, the “Chivirika” singer recently posted a video where she told her followers how much money Anuel AA spent on the cute, fluffy dog. Grand total: $11,000.
“Look at the devil – that dog Anuel bought it for me,” she said. “Eleven thousand dollars for that dog. Eleven thousand, and it’s tremendous.”
OK, so revealing the price of a gift is a little off-putting, which might be the reason the news didn’t sit well for many online watchers. First, Anuel AA was criticized for spending thousands of dollars on a pet when the money could’ve been used to help people in need.
“How sad it is to see the arrogance of some people when there are so many children dying of hunger,” one commenter wrote. Another message read, “That money could have been invested to help so many sick children who can’t afford their medicine.”
Anuel AA was also criticized for purchasing a dog, instead of adopting one from a shelter. “So many puppies are up for adoption, and they waste money there,” one critic wrote.
After a short engagement, the new pet owners got married last month.
“Everything in the hands of God,” Anuel AA wrote on social media. “WORDS DON’T MATTER ANYMORE!!!!!!!”
A few days after tying the knot, Anuel AA surprised Yailin La Más Viral with some more news. No, not another puppy. Instead, another possible stepchild. Yailin is already a stepmom to Anuel’s 9-year-old son Pablo. Now, she might be the stepmom to his newborn daughter, Gianella. Earlier this year, a woman named Melissa Vallecilla from Houston, Texas, told El Gordo y La Flaca that Anuel is the father.
