Fans of rapper Anuel AA are wondering if he really just proposed to his new love interest, rapper Yailin La Más Viral, after dating for only a few weeks. He put a ring on it, but are they actually engaged?
On Thursday (January 27), Yailin posted a video of Anuel taking her left hand and sliding a ring on her finger. “That padlock has no key,” the “Dictadura” singer is heard telling Yailin. “You have to have bullets to open that padlock.”
The caption for the video reads: “Life is one we live it fast. Today we are here, tomorrow is not promised!!!!!!!” The caption included emojis of a ring and a bride and groom.
While Yailin’s sentiment is difficult to disagree with, some online onlookers wondered if the engagement was the real thing or not. Or maybe it’s a publicity stunt for the couple’s upcoming collaboration, which they plan to debut on Valentine’s Day 2022 (February 14). Which, game recognizing game.
The song, which is still untitled, will be the first one Anuel and Yailin release together. It’s Anuel’s first single since releasing his album Las Leyendas Nunca Mueren in November 2021. In the past, Anuel has collaborated on songs with several Latine musicians, including Bad Bunny, J Balvin, Daddy Yankee, Enrique Iglesias, Tego Calderón, Farruko, Yandel, Ñengo Flow, Ozuna, and his ex-fiancée, Karol G.
It’s been a year since Karol and Anuel called it quits. Although some fans believed they might get back together at some point, Anuel began dating Yailin at the end of 2021. Based on some intimate footage Anuel AA posted recently that shows that the couple has physical chemistry, we’ll have to wait and see if those good vibes translate well into the recording studio (which this all could be a tease for in the first place) – and, possibly into something more like marriage.
