April Tarot Reading For The Zodiac Signs — This Month Is About Keeping Yourself Accountable

Art by Stephany Torres
You don’t need to be a total tarot reading expert to get advice straight from the universe. Remezcla’s got you covered. And who am I? I’m Sofía, an intuitive tarot reader, writer, and fellow astrology enthusiast, with four years of experience. Every month, I will shuffle my deck and ask “what do these signs need to know about the upcoming month?” I pick three cards for each Zodiac element, break down what each of them mean, and explain how they connect to you .
Every Zodiac sign has a corresponding element that groups them together: Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius are air signs; Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius are fire signs; Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn are earth signs; and Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces are water signs.
So, read the message that corresponds to your sun sign — the one that falls on your birthday. Or if you’re a super astrology fan, read the messages that correspond to your Big Three (sun, moon, and rising signs). For example, I’m an Aquarius sun, Aries moon, and Taurus rising. To find out your own Big Three, input your birth information here to create your birth chart.
Keep on reading to see what the cards have to say about the month ahead. Good luck!

Air Signs (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius)

Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius got Nine of Swords, The Fool reversed, and Five of Wands. Nine of Swords is anxiety, worry, fear, depression, and nightmares. The Fool reversed is holding back, recklessness, or risk-taking. And finally, Five of Wands is conflict, disagreements, competition, and tension.
April isn’t looking super great for you, air signs. Unfortunately, it seems like you’re teetering on the edge of some sort of explosion, either in your interpersonal relationships or within yourself. The issue is that you haven’t been expressing yourself. You’ve been holding in all these emotions, opinions, and thoughts so deeply inside yourself — now they’re too big, and they can’t be contained anymore. Be an adult and talk, before you do or say something you’ll regret.
Fire Signs (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius)

Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius got King of Swords, The Magician reversed, and Page of Cups. King of Swords is mental clarity, intellectual power, and authority. The Magician reversed represents manipulation, poor planning, and untapped talents. And finally, Page of Cups is creative opportunities, intuitive messages, and curiosity.

There’s a thin line between being an authority in something and being a controlling person. Sure, maybe the other person isn’t seeing you and your intentions clearly. Or maybe the issue really is how you’re coming across. This month will really test you on this, to see if you’ve grown since the last time something like this happened. This is not something you can charm or think yourself out of. The solution is in looking at everything (you, them, the relationship, the situation itself) with curiosity, and not judgement.
Earth Signs (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn)

Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn got Temperance reversed, Nine of Pentacles, and The High Priestess. Temperance reversed represents imbalance, excess, and re-alignment. Nine of Pentacles is abundance, luxury, self-sufficiency, and financial independence. And finally, The High Priestess is intuition, sacred knowledge, and the subconscious mind.
Back in March, you got Temperance upright and this month, dear earth signs, you got it again but in reverse. What does this mean? Last time, you were attempting to keep things balanced by not choosing anything at all. Now, it seems like you’ve overcorrected, and have either committed too hard to your finances and work or too hard to your intuition, ignoring one over the other. The real solution lies in discernment, and taking in consideration both factors. Follow your intuition, but don’t completely ignore all of the practical grounded elements that make you you.

Water Signs (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces)

Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces got The Devil, Six of Swords, and Nine of Wands reversed. The Devil represents attachment, addiction, and restriction. Six of Swords is transition, change, rite of passage, and releasing baggage. And finally, Nine of Wands reversed is struggle, overwhelm, defensive, and paranoia.
You’re walking away toxicity, water signs. Whether that’s thought patterns, addictions, people, relationships, jobs, or whatever other toxic cycles are affecting your life. It’s been holding you, your mind, and your heart hostage for a very long time now. It won’t be easy, but it will be worth it. This month, expect a thorough cleanse.
