Actress Aubrey Plaza is hitched. She married her longtime boyfriend, director and screenwriter Jeff Baena, but details about the nuptials stayed under wraps when she casually mentioned her “darling husband” in a recent Instagram post.

“So proud of my darling husband @jeffbaena for dreaming up another film that takes us to italia to cause some more trouble,” the post reads.

The Associated Press confirmed the marriage with Plaza’s publicist.

The project Plaza was referring to in her Instagram post is Spin Me Round about a woman who wins an all-expenses-paid trip to Florence where she meets a wealthy restaurateur. This will be the fourth film directed by Baena that Plaza will star in.

The two started their professional relationship in 2014 when Plaza took on the lead role of Baena’s directorial debut, the zombie comedy Life After Beth. She also starred in Baena’s films Joshy in 2016 and The Little Hours in 2017. The newlyweds are also working together on the Showtime anthology series Cinema Toast.

Colombian-Polish actress and singer Rachel Zegler, who will be seen in the remake of West Side Story later this year, reacted to the news much like many of Plaza’s fans did when they found out.

Besides being a new bride, up next for Plaza is the dramedy Best Sellers where she plays opposite two-time Oscar winner Michael Caine (The Cider House Rules). She has also finished up the comedy film King Knight and an untitled Guy Richie film starring Jason Statham, Hugh Grant and Josh Hartnett.
