Bad Bunny is once again pushing boundaries. This time, he’s doing it in conjunction with Adidas Originals, with the release of the Adizero SL 72, a sneaker that honors five years of creative partnership and proudly represents Latino culture on a global stage.
The design is inspired by what Adidas calls the “nostalgic trio,” blending three of Bad Bunny’s most iconic Forum releases—First Café, Easter Egg Pink, and Baby Blue—into one look. Each colorway carries deep meaning tied to the Puerto Rican superstar’s life and artistry: from the warmth of morning coffee to the playfulness of spring palettes, and the infinite horizons of a Caribbean summer.
First previewed at adidas para Bad Bunny: The Archive, the Adizero SL 72 is more than a shoe—it’s a story. It was the first model to feature the iconic trefoil logo, originally released by Adidas in 1972. Crafted with a textile and leather upper for comfort, the SL 72 is set on a durable rubber outsole, maintaining Adidas’ performance legacy while embracing self-expression.
Most recently Bad Bunny did one final night of his historic residency in Puerto Rico for “No Me Quiero Ir De Aquí” on September 15 in partnership with Amazon Music. The livestream broke Amazon Music livestream records and was available until Sunday night. He’s also making his return to Saturday Night Live as host for the Season 51 opener in October.
The Adizero SL 72 will launch worldwide on September 27, 2025, and will be available through the CONFIRMED App, adidas.com/badbunny, and select retailers.
