Bad Bunny will soon release another pair of adidas sneakers. This time, the kicks are in celebration of San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Bad Bunny x adidas Gazelle Indoor âSan Juanâ sneakers are expected to drop on June 23. They feature an ocean blue and grayish-blue suede with the signature Three-Stripe adidas logo in white. And there’s no official price point for them.
The sneaker also sports a thick gum sole and the words âadidasâ and âSan Juanâ embossed on the heel counter. In past versions of this shoe, the name âBenitoâ was branded on the side. This includes the âCore Whiteâ colorway.
According to SBD, one unique detail of the new sneaker is the âwarped toe box overlay,â which is different from past Gazelle Indoor designs.
The Gazelle was introduced by adidas in 1966 as âone of the first-ever performance footwear styles to incorporate suede in place of leather.â Other celebrities who have designed their own version of the Gazelle include Japanese fashion designer Yohji Yamamoto, American sneaker designer Sean Wotherspoon, and Italian luxury fashion house Gucci.
Social media users seemed on board once photos of the âSan Juanâ sneakers were revealed online this past weekend. Some comments included, âThose are fire,â âI need these by yesterday,â and âThose details are so nice.â
Bad Bunny recently wrapped up his Most Wanted Tour with the third sold out concert in Puerto Rico. Benito didnât give away any of the new Gazelle Indoor at his concerts, but weâre sure weâre going to be seeing a lot of Puerto Ricans sporting these sneakers in the coming weeks.
