Bad Bunny has been collaborating with shoe brand Adidas to deliver his signature style to a series of sneakers for the last 21 months. He started in March 2021 with the release of “The First Café,” a shoe that was inspired by the first cup of coffee that gets his day started. Now, El Conejo Malo is wrapping up his partnership with Adidas when it comes to this particular sneaker model with a fifth and final shoe, “Cloud White.”
“Summer lives in you siempre,” the Instagram for Adidas Originals posted. “Bad Bunny’s latest Forum features an all-white color paying homage to an endless Summer in the Winter months.”
While the shoe might be described as “all-white,” there are actually three distinct shades that the “Cloud White” shoe features – Cloud White, Chalk White, and Clear Onix. The Adidas website reads, “Embrace a cool change as we turn the heat up on a fresh season, built for duality. It’s all about Benito’s take on an eternal summer as our new silhouette gets the Bad Bunny treatment. Fire and ice have never looked hotter.”
Bad Bunny has always been fond of footwear and has been collecting sneakers for quite some time. “Ever since I was a child, I’ve liked sneakers,” he said in a 2018 interview with Complex.
He added: “In terms of my sneaker game…it’s really developed now that I can buy more. Two years ago, I didn’t have the amount of money I have now. So, it’s just now that I’ve been able to fulfill all the dreams I had as a kid to buy the sneakers that I want.”
Along with “The First Café,” past collabs between Bad Bunny and Adidas have included the “Easter Egg” made of pink leather and pink suede, and his special edition “Forum Sneaker” collection called “Bad Bunny Forum-Back to School Shoes.”
Fans can get their hands on Bad Bunny’s last Adidas collab by registering for a drawing on the Adidas app today. The chance to land a pair of the shoes ends December 10, and then they will become available for purchase.
