Singer, songwriter, and actress Belinda was unrecognizable when she appeared on the cover and inside the pages of the most recent issue of the Mexican publication Bad Hombre Skin magazine.
“Definitely one of my favorite magazines!!” Belinda wrote on Instagram. “Thanks to the whole team for this fantasy.” On its Instagram page, the magazine described the “Lo Siento” singer as “a muse from another planet.”
On the cover, Belinda is wearing a sheer black outfit that shows off plenty of skin. Her black undergarments are covered by a long, black, and sheer veil that drapes down to her black boots. She’s also showing off a new hairstyle – a short, dirty-blonde cut – and tying the entire look together with dark lipstick and eyeliner.
In another series of photos from the shoot, Belinda is sporting a pixie-style pink haircut, leather gloves, black and white sunglasses, and a white, lacy piece of lingerie. In another photo, she switches out the lace for a long-sleeved gray, yellow and pink top that matches nicely with her pink blush and mascara. A final look features Belinda wearing a black top with laced-up sleeves and black, thigh-high boots.
The extreme change that Belinda undertook for the photo shoot resonated with plenty of fans who thought it might be proof that she was entering a new era.
Then, there were some who took to social media to suggest that Belinda’s new style looked too much like Argentine rapper Cazzu, who is currently dating Belinda’s ex-fiancé, Christian Nodal.
We’ll let fans decide who wore it better, but no one can deny how stylish Belinda looks – even if her radical appearance is only for the cover of a magazine.
