Naya Rivera has been missing since Wednesday, July 8, when her 4-year-old son Josey Hollis Dorsey was found alone, asleep in a boat at Lake Piru, where the two went to spend some quality time. Dorsey said his mom went swimming and did not return. Officials and family members have been searching for her since. On Monday morning, Ventura County Sheriff’s office tweeted that a body was found, but did not provide details as to who it was.
“The recovery is in progress,” they wrote. Many responded saying “please don’t be her,” while others acknowledged that “even if it isn’t her, somebody has lost their life.”
