Amazon won the Super Bowl, thanks in part to Cardi B. For the Super Bowl, the company reimagined a world where celebrities fill in for the virtual personal assistant. With the help of Rebel Wilson, Gordon Ramsay, Anthony Hopkins, and Cardi, Amazon Echo users get some not-so-useful answers. For example, when one person asks Alexa to play country music, the Trini-Dominican rapper just plays “Bodak Yellow.” The commercial, which ends with Alexa making a comeback, took the No. 1 spot in USA Today’s Ad Meter, which is a “ranking of Super Bowl commercials based on consumer votes.”
On Twitter, many pointed to the fact that casting Cardi B was an amazing choice. Check out a few reactions below:
How do I get Cardi B to be my Alexa tho?

All that Alexa Super Bowl commercial accomplished was making me want a magic box in my room that lets me talk to Cardi B.

And if you want a little more Cardi B/Amazon Echo fun, ask Alexa if Cardi B enjoyed filling in for her.
