A month after Cardi B was named the first-ever creative director in residence for Playboy, the rapper has officially launched her first project with the iconic magazine.

On her social media pages, Cardi introduced Centerfold, “a platform for creative freedom, artistic expression and sex positivity.” Along with her title as creative director, she is also credited as the platform’s founding member.

“My first project with @playboy!!!” Cardi B wrote on Instagram. “Introducing CENTERFOLD, so excited to share this platform with so many amazing creators @playboycenterfold.”

The Centerfold website is now live. Users can visit and create their own account to become a “creator.” At first glance, the site is reminiscent of the OnlyFans platform. It says that creators can “generate consistent income” by charging “monthly subscriptions … per piece of content.”

According to the FAQs listed on the site, “content” includes “anything from you doing your laundry, walking your dog, vlogging around the city, BTS content of your latest project, or hanging out in your bedroom with a ring light.” There is currently a waitlist to become a creator on Centerfold.

Some fans think OnlyFans could be in trouble once word about Cardi’s new platform hits the masses.

“For as long as I can remember, I’ve felt connected to Playboy,” Cardi said in a statement when she was named creative director in late 2021. “It’s truly the original platform for uncensored creativity, and I’m inspired by its incredible legacy of fighting for personal freedoms. I have so many ideas already – I can’t wait!”
