Cardi B and Offset spared no expense for their son’s first birthday party.
On Sunday (September 4), the couple threw Wave Set a race car-themed extravaganza. Cardi B shared photos and videos on social media of the celebration, which included a massive archway of colorful balloons, sports cars, customized decorations, a buffet, and a candy station.
“READY, SET, WAVE!!” the mother in question posted before the festivities started. “WAVE, SET, GOOOO!!!!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my love. Thank you [Priceless Event Planning] for making this happen. Thank you to the djs, chef, activity group and of course [Jools TV], my son’s absolute favorite!!!!!!”
In a photo taken before the party, the entire family posed together in matching, customized, denim outfits designed by Tremaine Emory. The photo shows Offset carrying his and Cardi B’s one-year-old son Wave Set. Standing in front of Cardi B is the couple’s 4-year-old daughter Kulture. Cardi B’s three stepchildren from Offset’s past relationships also joined in for the fun – 12-year-old Jordan, 7-year-old Kody, and 7-year-old Kalea.
In another series of photos posted, Wave Set is seen riding in a kid-sized, black and blue Mercedes-Benz vehicle. The car was a gift from Cardi B’s sister, Hennessey Carolina. “Words can’t describe how this boy came into my life and stole my heart,” Cardi B wrote. “Name fits you perfectly…YOU THE WAVE!”
In a video posted by Jools TV, the creators of children’s songs with a trap music vibe, Cardi B is seen carrying Wave Set and singing along to some of the entertainer’s tunes, which include raps about the alphabet and nursery rhymes like Humpty Dumpty.
We can only imagine what birthday No. 2 is going to look like.
