One can never claim that rapper Cardi B is shy. More evidence of this can be seen in her most recent eyebrow-raising Instagram story post.
Cardi B debuted a brand new back tattoo, while wearing very little, but the tattoo itself. In typical Cardi B fashion, it’s a mammoth of a tattoo. Sprawling the length of her entire back, over her money making cheeks, then right down to the back of her thighs. The tattoo itself features beautiful sunflowers, roses, and other warm colored blooms. There are butterflies perched in a perpetual state of prettiness along with hummingbirds.
While Cardi B is known for her vocal opinions and brash talk, the rapper is without words in this latest post. Just her, her long hair, and a sway of her hips. The tattoo itself weaves and arches over the back of the rapper’s body as if it were growing towards the crown of her head.
A crown that by the way is befitting of the current queen in the rap world. Currently Cardi B’s “Up” is no. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, the same spot it’s been since its release six weeks ago. Her recent performance with Megan Thee Stallion at the Grammys is still being talked about. Not surprisingly, the FCC received dozens of complaints of the performance.
This isn’t the first time we have seen the tattoo. Cardi gave us a peek before, most recently in February. But this is the first time we’ve seen it in all its, ahem, g-string glory. The tattoo artist Jamie Schene shared Cardi’s first look at the tatt last Spring. He revealed it took over 60 hours in 10 different cities to complete.
