In case you needed further proof that hoverboards – the trendy non-hovering boards that have been declared illegal in some U.S. cities – aren’t for everyone, then consider Rep. Carlos Curbelo’s Christmas tale. This year, Curbelo’s nephew was gifted a hoverboard, and when Curbelo decided to give it a go, he ended up going to the hospital, according to Miami New Times.
Curbelo broke his arm, and not only did he end up admitting the embarrassing incident on Twitter, he also got clowned on social media.
