Even if you don’t care about Al Gore (you should) or global warming (you really should) or Latin America (you have no soul), tomorrow should be an interesting evening, as Soda Stereo drummer Charly Alberti, also a frequent Gore collaborator, descends upon New York City to discuss climate change and its particular effects on Latin America. The Argentine drummer demi-God is the founder of Revolución 21, an organization that promotes sustainability in Latin America to curb climate’s global impact.

Charly Alberti will present at the Americas Society/Council of the Americas on 680 Park Avenue at 5:30 p.m., and Juanita Castaño, director of United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), will moderate. Oh, yeah, and it’s FREE.
