You don’t need to be a total tarot reading expert to get advice straight from the universe this December. Remezcla’s got you covered. And who am I? Air Signs (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius)
Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius got The Hierophant, Eight of Cups, and Three of Wands reversed. The Hierophant is spiritual wisdom, religious beliefs, tradition, and institutions. Eight of Cups walking away, escapism, and disappointment. And finally, Three of Wands reversed is playing small, lack of foresight, and unexpected delays.
Walking away from what doesn’t serve you isn’t normally hard for you, air signs — that’s your speciality, after all. But this month, it might prove difficult to let go of the old (habits, jobs, or relationships), even if it’s no longer helping or inspiring you, because the future is so unknown. The path ahead is filled with fog, you don’t know what to expect, and you don’t even know what you want right now. For signs that are so proud of their intelligence, this might just sound like absolute hell, air signs — but it doesn’t have to be. You get to start from zero, to decide what and who you want to be — and you don’t even need to wait for the new year. You can start right now, with small everyday choices and changes.
Whether you know how to work the system or you’re wanting to dismantle it all, this December, there will be an opportunity for you to decide which traditions, rituals, and beliefs from your culture (religion, job, familial, etc) get to stay with you, and which should be removed from you life entirely.
Fire Signs (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius)
Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius got The High Priestess, Page of Wands, and Knight of Wands reversed. The High Priestess is intuition, inner knowing, and the subconscious mind. Page of Wands represents inspired ideas, limitless potential, and free spirit. And finally, Knight of Wands reversed is haste, scattered energy, delays, and frustration.
This is one fiery spread, fire signs. This Sagittarius season will be quite lively for you (I mean, it’s your birthday, so as it should be). You will feel this energetic drive to go all out on your ideas and projects this month, and the universe is definitely encouraging you to do that — especially, if those ideas connect with your passionate inner child. Maybe there are things that you’ve wanted to do but felt like they were too childish, ignore that inner judgment — and do it anyway. But just don’t go too overboard… and don’t get frustrated if it doesn’t work out right the first time. How do you know if you go too hard too soon? Listen to your intuition on that one, a part of you already knows when you’re not giving yourself grace.
Earth Signs (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn)
Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn got Temperance, The Devil, and Wheel of Fortune. Temperance represents balance, moderation, patience, and purpose. The Devil is shadow self, attachment, addiction, and restriction. And finally, Wheel of Fortune is good luck, change, destiny, and a turning point.
Wow, this is the first time we’ve had a full Major Arcana spread! In tarot, Major Arcana are big, universal energies. In other words, they are a really big deal, earth signs. The words you need to carry with you this month are: balance, indulgence, and change. A major turning point is coming for you this month, or maybe you’ve already gotten it, and you’re in the middle of dealing with it — either way, you’ve been given a call to change (a good one!!) and now, you have to prepare to become the best version of yourself for it.
The goal is to achieve balance in your life, as much as possible (no one’s perfect, and the universe isn’t expecting perfection from anyone). Indulging can be good for us, especially during the holidays, but if it’s become part of your daily routine… maybe try scaling back and see how you feel? It might surprise you.
Water Signs (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces)
Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces got The Hanged Man reversed, Queen of Cups, and Two of Swords reversed. The Hanged Man reversed represents delays, resistance, stalling, and indecision. Queen of Cups is compassionate, caring, emotionally stable, and intuitive. And finally, Two of Swords reversed is indecision, confusion, and stalemate.
December is a huge pause button for you, water signs. Some of you (specifically looking at you, Scorpio) are really stubborn, but if you want to survive this month, you’re going to have to let go of that. People are going to be out of office; flights will probably be delayed; there will be traffic; you might be late to that appointment; there’s nothing you can’t do to fix any of it.
So, instead of being frustrated and annoyed by all these little things, just accept your lack of power here. You can’t make the wrong decision here, because there’s no decision to be made. The universe is making the decision for you. Look at it from that perspective, this is an opportunity to pause, feel, rest, and reflect.
