Benjamin Golden, a bro who drunkenly ordered an Uber, got fired from his job as the senior marketing manager for Taco Bell after a camera caught him attacking his driver, Edward Caban. The interaction was captured by a camera perched on Caban’s rear view mirror, and uploaded on October 30, and showed a belligerent Golden refusing to give Caban his address. Golden also chastises Caban for missing turns, even though he’s too messed up to give Caban any real direction.
Eventually, Caban flips the camera so that it shows the two of them, and he kicks Golden out of the car. Golden, who has acted like an entitled asshole up until this point, starts punching Caban and pulling his hair, prompting Caban to pepper spray him in self defense.
Golden was arrested and Taco Bell was less than impressed with his behavior. “Given the behavior of the individual, it is clear he can no longer work for us,” Taco Bell told Adweek. “We have also offered and encouraged him to seek professional help.”
