Adorable Ecuadorian Sloth Returns Home After Roadside Rescue

On Friday, a sloth in Los Rios, Ecuador was trying to cross the road when officers of Ecuador’s transit commission spotted it just chilling along the side.

BuzzFeed reports that the oso perezoso was taken to a vet after being found, and because it was in “optimal condition” was taken back to its home.

The Comisión de Tránsito del Ecuador followed up on Monday with pictures of the sloth back home. And it’s equally adorable. “The world’s most famous sloth is happy in its habitat,” they said. “Thanks to all for your concern.”
