Three people are going to get the chance to live like El Chavo and La Chilindrina on November 21. Airbnb has teamed up with Chespirito’s son, Roberto Gómez Fernández, and recreated the legendary neighborhood that has become world-famous through El Chavo del 8.
Unfortunately for a lot of us, only people living in Mexico are able to enter the contest. (See above for details and then go here.) The fictional neighborhood’s double is in Centro Histórico in the D.F., and it includes a minibar and the patio that the crew from la vecindad hung out in.
Personally, I’m keeping my fingers crossed that this becomes a Disney World-type attraction, because if we learned anything this Halloween, it’s that Latinos love El Chavo del 8 and loteria.
