Long-time Met Gala attendee and first-time Co-Chair JLo arrived at the 2024 Met Gala in a dazzling Schiaparelli gown accompanied by a diamond and platinum Tiffany necklace, drop earrings, and a semi-messy bun. Her look was completed with neutral makeup that offset the blinged-out look.
But reactions to her overall gala look have fans divided.
Some fans were gagged by the details of her custom Schiaparelli look, including the snatched shape and sheer material—particularly the back of her dress.
Meanwhile, onlookers were commenting that they couldn’t help but feel like they’d seen this look before.
Some wanted to speak with her stylist while we were at it because of her hair.

The 2024 Met Gala Theme is “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion,” and JLo is serving as the Co-Chair alongside Bad Bunny, Zendaya, Chris Hemsworth, and Anna Wintour. JLo has attended several Met Galas in years past, but this is her first time co-hosting. Loewe creative director Jonathan Anderson and TikTok CEO Shou Zi Chew are acting as Honorary Chairs.
