In an interview with Jorge Ramos, former Mexican President Vicente Fox sent a message to Donald Trump re: the wall he’s built his whole presidential campaign around: “I’m not going to pay for that fucking wall,” he said. “He should pay for it. He’s got the money.”
But in the end, Fox doesn’t think that democracy will allow the election of a “crazy person [who don’t] know what’s going on in the world today,” which is actually a very accurate description of Trump, who mostly spews lies. Last year, PolitiFact said that 59 percent of Trump’s comments were complete lies.
Ramos and Fox also talked about the 44 percent of Latino voters Trump won in the Nevada caucus. Fox asked them to please open their eyes so that they could defend the place they call home, the United States.

Last year, another former Mexican president also called out Trump. Felipe Calderón said, “Mexican people, we are not going to pay any single cent for such a stupid wall!,”according to CNBC. “And it’s going to be completely useless. The first loser of such a policy would be the United States. If this guy pretends that closing the borders to anywhere either for trade (or) for people is going to provide prosperity to the United States, he is completely crazy.”
