Hey, que onda esse. Welcome to Remezcla‘s first “Foto Esse” installation featuring our favorito Guadalajara’s vaquero jipster outfit, Los Master Plus. And that means photo essay, but you know. Now, we already know these vatos get down with their badass cumbiatrónica rolas and sick covers, and not to mention, bringing back the funk with some irony and swag in their low-budget videos, like # 7 here. But do they get down in a foto esse?
So it all started a few weeks ago, when we heard about these homies hitting up Califas and Vegas to play some gigs. Were like, “Yo, yooo, we wanna see some pictures, foo!” Just so is, El Comanche and Larry Mon were firme enough to send us their personal flicks and a few words to go along with’em. They said it was cool too if we wanted to expose them out into the world of the internet. So here’s the first batch (1 of 2) from and of Los Master Plus hangin’ out in the City of Angels, shopping, eating, driving, partying, and some of Vegas too, for all of you lovely heads to see:
