Palenke Soultribe has a new remix EP called Wepalenke and you can download it for free (yes, gratis!) on their official site. The L.A. based Colombian group puts their electro-cumbia spin on tracks by Locos Por Juana, Maleco Collective, and Señor Mendez. The free download is available on a track by track basis, or free download the entire EP.
If you’re lucky enough to be in Chicago this weekend, you can see Palenke Soultribe perform live at the Chicago Latino Film Festival wrap party. They’ll be at the Green Dolphin on Friday.
