It’s no secret that George Lopez is not a Donald Trump fan – the comedian has been an outspoken Trump critic since the beginning of his presidential campaign, and recently pretended to pee all over Trump’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. So it’s no surprise that Lopez isn’t exactly on great terms with the MAGA crowd.

On Sunday night, those tensions came to a head when Lopez and a Trump supporting troll got into a confrontation in a New Mexico Hooters restaurant.

In a video published by TMZ, a man is seen recording himself while he waits for George Lopez to approach.  “Here comes my boy, George,” the man is heard saying in a taunting voice, before things quickly escalate. The camera soon goes shaky – presumably because George has started jostling the man – and a shot reveals Lopez grabbing his neck. “George wants to fight me! Look at him! George wants to fight me,” the troll repeats.

According to TMZ, the altercation happened after the man had allegedly been harassing Lopez. He was “in the comedian’s face all night, making pro-Trump comments and yelling, ‘MAGA,’” said a source. No one was injured in the confrontation.
