Whether you have the day off or not, Remezcla would like to wish you a Happy Presidents Day. Presidents Day isn’t actually the official name of the Holiday, which is why you sometimes see it spell Presidents’ or President’s Day or some other variation on apostrophe use. Today’s actually Washington’s birthday celebration, but we call it Presidents day so as not to screw over Lincoln’s memory – people used to get off from work and school on both days.
So Happy Presidents Day this election year to all our US based Latino friends. We can focus on the good, today – but don’t worry, you can still fix your angry glare on Arizona.
