Here’s What You Can Expect From Sagittarius Season

Feeling feisty? You can blame the stars for that. On November 20, the sun left sultry Scorpio for impulsive Sagittarius, meaning it’s time to have some (safe) fun—but you can expect some surprises along the way.

“Sagittarius is adventurous, enthusiastic, spontaneous, and so much fun to be around,” Miami-based clairvoyant astrologer Valerie Mesa tells Remezcla. “Sag’s mutable fire is similar to a bonfire… it brings people together.” Mesa compares the Sag essence to what you feel when you’re making s’mores with your favorite people: “That feeling of joy you get when you hear the fire crackling on a cold night.”

But what does this mean for the month ahead, aside from the fact that we should bundle up and eat more? (Done and done)

“We’re still dealing with the dismantling of establishments, government systems, and previously set structures—personally and collectively—thanks to the Jupiter-Saturn-Pluto stellium in Capricorn,” Mesa explains, adding that we’re already in eclipse season because of the eclipse in Gemini on November 30 and in Sagittarius on December 14. Essentially, eclipses are associated with revealing hidden truths and, with the majority of planets moving back in direct motion by November 30, things—and pieces of new information—will start moving, and making themselves known, quickly.

“Sagittarius-Gemini themes revolving around what is true, and what is not [true] will be at the top of mind,” Mesa adds. “The lunar eclipse in Gemini on November 30 will involve Uranus, which foreshadows a series of shocking information coming to light.”

But don’t worry: Sagittarius is jovial in nature and symbolizes things like abundance, prosperity, and opportunity. “Jupiter is the Santa Claus of the cosmos—literally,” Mesa says, adding that despite the uncertainty of our current circumstances, it’s still important to enjoy yourself. She suggests we spend Sag season exploring the outdoors and or perhaps planning our next getaway—as long as we make sure we’re staying safe.

“Traveling is something people feel uncertain about right now, and it’s only going to intensify when Mercury enters Sagittarius at the end of November,” Mesa explains. “You’d think Mercury in Sagittarius would inspire more of us to travel, but it will eventually square off with Neptune and the North Node,” which will further complicate feelings around transportation. Mesa predicts a drastic decrease in travel in the coming weeks, but don’t despair — romance is in the air!

Venus is entering Scorpio on November 21st, which “will intensify relationship dynamics, and inspire the desire to emotionally, physically, and spiritually merge with our significant others.” But, be warned: November 27 will mark Venus in an opposition to rebellious Uranus, which Mesa says could potentially result in a number of romantic or financial debacles.

“Breakups are unfortunately very possible, as this transit could spark [an] intense rebellion and create instability,” she says. The alternative is a financial fiasco, as this transit occurs on Black Friday. “If you consider yourself a shopaholic, tell someone to hide your credit cards ASAP. Venus in Scorpio obsesses over things and becomes fixated, and Uranus is reckless and unconventional. Shopping ’til you drop is an understatement!”

In conclusion: It’s about to get chaotic. Hold onto your heart and wallet, and get ready to have a good, perhaps shocking, time.
