As predicted, Lin-Manuel Miranda and the cast of Hamilton absolutely murked it at the 2016 Grammys. Their performance, which was broadcast via satellite from New York’s Richard Rodgers Theatre, got among the loudest cheers of the night and promptly crashed the ‘Hamilton’ website
Hamilton‘s performance is only the 8th time that musical theatre has been featured during the #Grammys.
The cast made a reappearance when they were named the winner of Best Musical Theater Album, and Lin-Manuel accepted the award in style. Check it out below:
