Coming Out Rally: Undocumented, Unafraid, Unapologetic

Chicago’s youth has led the nation in writing the new rules of rebellion. Since the historic 10 de marzo march in 2006, undocumented youth have been the fuel and voice of the national struggle for comprehensive immigration reform and the Dream Act.

This Thursday their voices will be heard again, as they take the streets of Chicago to remind the nation that failed government bills will not determine how they live in this country. They are loud and unapologetic about demanding change. Don’t take my word for it, watch this video (below) and come out this Thursday to Daley Plaza, as an undocumented person, as a person who cares, or as someone who respects the voices of those who have shaken us up and reminded us that real struggles and change are led by those who are not afraid.
