YSL Beauty is expanding its U.S. Ambassador program. After Barbie Ferreira, the brand has now announced Indya Moore will also be joining its ever-growing list of ambassadors. It’s all part of the brand’s plan to celebrate individuality and modernity through unique, empowered talent in the U.S.

Moore, who is best known for playing the role of Angel Evangelist in the FX series Pose and being named one of Time Magazine’s most influential people in the world in 2019, is a welcome face in a beauty industry that has, for so long, looked very much the same. YSL Beauty has made it one of their stated goals of this campaign to redefine conventional beauty standards, and though such an undertaking cannot be completed in one day – or fall on the shoulders of just one Ambassador, it’s great to see that steps towards inclusion and authenticity are being taken.

“Bigger. Bolder. Better. That’s my philosophy in life and what I will carry into this partnership with YSL Beauty,” Moore said. “We share a passion for superior beauty products that let a person express themselves powerfully and authentically, and I’m thrilled to take on this new journey and participate in this new wave for YSL Beauty.”

The campaign featuring Moore is set to kick off with content premiering the brand’s Lash Clash Mascara. They will be featured in a series of campaign content to be leveraged across social media, YSL Beauty’s digital platforms, and in U.S. media campaigns (digital and out-of-home advertisements), supporting the YSL Makeup portfolio.
