Calling any and all Latine creators. La Nueva Link, a digital community for Latine creatives and media professionals, is partnering with Meta for the launch of its first-ever Latine creator program, Dale Tú.

Dale Tú is a new initiative to help creators on Instagram build sustainable businesses and grow their audience through funding, education, partner support, and community-building.

“Meta’s work with We The Culture, geared towards Black creators, is the blueprint and the proof that these focused initiatives work and are tremendously valuable to our communities. As a network for professionals and creatives, we know that Dale Tú can bring equity and expand resources for our community that will have a lasting impact,” Briana Mendez, Co-founder of La Nueva Link, tells Remezcla. Deb Renteria, Co-Founder of La Nueva Link, adds: “Very rarely do we get to discuss with the folks behind the scenes and connect them to the real people their work impacts. It’s special, and we’re proud to be their go-to community partner.”

During a virtual information session on October 10 at 4 p.m. PT, La Nueva Link editor Jenny Mota will speak with the people at Meta behind Dale Tú, including Michelle Mitchell, Head of Culture, Media. The conversation will include more about the program’s intentions and walk community members interested in the initiative through the application process.

Through Dale Tú, creators currently using Facebook and Instagram can learn how to get access to more tools, resources, events, and workshops to grow their audience and put them on a path to make a living on Meta’s platforms and get them ready to flourish in the metaverse. And did we already mention that there is funding opportunity? “

“This program is all about giving voice to folks who know how to bring people together, so whether you’re a Latinx artist, entertainer, educator, leading your own business, or something else, we’re excited to build this community together and encourage everyone to apply,” says Michelle Mitchell, Head of Culture, Media, and Equity at Meta

Applications for Dale Tú will be accepted until October 12, 2022. The virtual information session takes place on October 10 at 4 p.m. PT. RSVP to attend the virtual event here.
