The Shakira rumor mill is spinning faster than a Formula 1 race car around a track. According to a source who spoke to Page Six, Oscar-nominated actor Tom Cruise (Magnolia) is “extremely interested in pursuing” the multi-talented icon after they hung out together at the 2023 Miami Grand Prix this past weekend.
They were photographed together inside the Miami International Autodrome where the race was taking place. There was also a video of the duo talking to each other from one of the suites above the track. In the video, Shakira and Cruise can be seen conversing. At one point, one of Shakira’s sons gives her a hug and jumps around them.
“There is chemistry,” the source said. According to Page Six, Cruise, 60, allegedly sent Shakira, 46, flowers after their time together.
According to the source, “Shakira needs a soft pillow to fall on, and that could be Tom.” They added that Cruise benefits from being “a nice-looking guy, and he is talented.”
The source also joked: “And she isn’t taller than him.”
Shakira recently moved to Miami with her two sons after she broke up with her longtime boyfriend Gerard Piqué over allegations that he cheated on her with his current girlfriend, Clara Chia Marti.
“I just feel like this is all a bad dream and that I’m going to wake up at some point,” Shakira told Elle magazine last September. “But no, it’s real. And what’s also real is the disappointment to see something as sacred and as special as I thought was the relationship I had with my kids’ father and see that turned into something vulgarized and cheapened by the media. This is probably the darkest hour of my life.”
