In the year 2000, Jennifer Lopez wore one of the most iconic dresses of all time. People were so curious about the dress that Google launched Google Images (which is literally such an important tool, so thanks for that, Jenny From the Block). Today, nearly 20 years later, J.Lo wore a version of that same dress (this one is sleeveless) to close the Versace Spring 2020 fashion show. Lopez posted the incredible moment on her Instagram, where commenters went wild.

While we now associate that green sheer dress with J.Lo, the moment almost didn’t happen. Earlier this year, she revealed that her stylist didn’t want her to wear the dress originally.

“My stylist goes, ‘I think you should really wear the white dress because three people have worn this dress, Donatella herself. It’s been seen. This is the Grammys. You need to wear something else,’” she remembered.

But when she tried it on, her manager told her that was the move.

“I put on the green dress and come out and Benny [Medina] goes, ‘That’s it. That’s it. Don’t even talk about it. That’s the dress,’” she said. “And of course my stylist is mortified.”
