The rumor mill is spinning, and singer Karol G is caught in the middle. This time, onlookers are wondering if she is dating professional footballer James Rodríguez, who plays for Al-Rayyan Sports Club in the Qatar Stars League and for the Colombian national team.
A photo of Karol and James was making its rounds online on Wednesday (February 9) featuring the two sitting next to each other among a big group of people.
Although there are no details about the photo, including when or where it was shot, many of Karol’s fans weren’t shy about expressing their hopes that the singer was moving on from her ex-fiancé Anuel AA, especially since it seems like he’s put Karol in his rearview mirror. In the last few weeks, Anuel has purged his Instagram account of her photos, covered up his tattoos, and even got engaged.
While some of Karol’s followers have avoided punching below the belt and simply wished her good luck with any of her future relationships, others took the time to take some low blows at Anuel. Some of the comments suggested that if the rumors were true and Karol was, in fact, dating Rodríguez, it would be a step up for the Latin Grammy Award winner.
Whatever the case may be, Karol is doing just fine with or without a new man. She just confirmed a new collaboration with fellow artist Becky G, which should be dropping sometime this summer.
