Karol G is using her platform to support those affected by the Los Angeles wildfires. On January 16, the Colombian superstar announced she’s selling special merchandise that will support affected individuals, families, and resources.
“LA, you are in my heart. At @concorafoundation, we have joined forces with @iscreamcolor to create two pieces that represents solidarity with the people affected by one of the most devastating wildfires in California’s history,” the artist’s merch company shared online. “All of the artist’s proceeds will be donated to the YMCA of Metropolitan Los Angeles to support those affected by the ongoing wildfires.
It continues: “This is an act of love and gratitude for a city that means so much to me and to all of us. Together, we can make a difference. Let’s unite and show Los Angeles that it’s in our hearts.”
The new merch includes a white hooded sweater with a blue heart saying “Los Angeles in our hearts,” alongside waves, and a white palm tree silhouette. The second piece is a white tote bag with the same message and figures. The hoodie currently costs $120 USD; while the tote bag costs $40 USD.

After her global and successful Mañana Será Bonito era, Karol G revealed that she has an upcoming Netflix documentary in the works. And her latest guest performance was at her boyfriend Feid’s hometown Ferxxocalipsis World Tour concerts in December.
As far as music goes, the singer’s most recent release is “+57” with Colombian stars like Feid, Maluma, J Balvin, and more.
Other Latine artists who have helped those affected by the LA wildfires include iconic Mexican rock band Maná who donated to multiple organizations, and Mexican-American group Fuerza Regida who temporarily rented out a hotel for those in need.
